How It All Began

Ben and Melissa's first date was one for the books. Melissa brought pressed sandwiches, pasta salad, and Chip, and Ben brought an afternoon's worth of gin and tonics. They hit it off immediately, and once they realized how much they both enjoyed meteorology, it was clear they had something special. Chip mostly focused on getting as muddy as possible. The rest is history.

Everything You Need to Know
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM.
Guests may begin arriving at 10:30 AM. Please plan to be seated before 11:00 so we can start on time. The reception will begin immediately following the ceremony.

Parking at the venue is EXTREMELY limited. We highly encourage guests to take MARTA or a rideshare to the venue if possible.
The dress code is garden party. Think spring/summer wedding attire — light fabrics and colors, florals, and comfortable elegance. Please no distracting hats. The outdoor areas have pavers, so we recommend choosing footwear you'll be comfortable walking and standing in.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will include both indoor and outdoor spaces.
In the case of inclement weather, all activities will move indoors and under tents.
Each mailed invitation assumes up to two adult guests. In addition to those two adults, children are also welcome to join.
Please note the celebration will be adult-oriented and will not include kid-specific entertainment or activities. Parents should plan accordingly based on what will be most enjoyable for their family.
If children will be attending, please list their ages in the RSVP notes so we can include them in our planning.

Atlanta has many great neighborhoods and lodging options. We especially recommend staying near Ponce City Market and the Eastside Atlanta Beltline, which offer excellent restaurants, bars, and walkable neighborhoods.
We also enjoy Hotel Clermont - A historic boutique hotel in a restored 1920s building featuring a rooftop bar with skyline views, a popular restaurant, and a fun, uniquely Atlanta atmosphere. The hotel is pet friendly (with a fee) and offers room options with bunk beds! hotelclermont.com
We will be hosting a casual group picnic on Friday evening for a chance to hang out relax, and welcome guests!
